Notifications

Proctortrack provides notifications for relevant activities or events.

Some notifications are built into the system and cannot be customised by an instructor, such as sending candidates an email if they fail an onboarding test.
You can customise some notifications settings via the NOTIFICATIONS drop-down menu on the instructor dashboard.

Customise notifications settings

This screen contains the following sections.

#	Item	Description
A	Receive a notification when…	This section allows you to change your notifications settings. These settings are specific to you and will not affect the settings for other instructors. Most customisable notifications can be set to display as an alert for you on the Proctortrack site and/or sent to you as an email.
B	Send a notification to test-takers when…	This section allows you to change the notifications settings for candidates. The notifications can be set to send the candidate an email.
C	Save Settings button	Make changes to the notificatons settings by selecting or deselecting the required checkboxes and then select Save Settings.

Viewing notifications feeds

Select this option in the NOTIFICATIONS drop-down menu on the instructor dashboard to see your notifications.
