Order interaction

An order interaction question requires a candidate to order text or images. 

This question is marked automatically by the system.

Create item

  1. Follow the steps covered in the Creating a question section.
  2. Select Order Interaction from the Type drop-down field.
  3. Complete the following:
    1. Enter the question into the Question Stem field.
    2. Add a prompt (optional).
    3. Choose an orientation from the Orientation drop-down field from the following options:
      OptionDescription
      VerticalDisplays the answers in one column.
      HorizontalDisplays the answers in rows and gives you the option to set how many answers appear per row.
    4. Select the appropriate scoring option from the Scoring Type drop-down field. See the Scoring section to learn more about this. If choosing ‘Per Distractor’, you can also add a minimum and maximum score.
  4. Complete the following to enter your answer options:
    1. Enter the answer choices into the Answer column. When you select into the field the text editor displays so you can format your text or insert an image.

      Important

      You must enter the answers into the Answer column in the correct order.

    2. Enter the order you want the answers displayed in the Display Order column.
    3. Select the checkbox in the Fixed column if you would like to lock the item so the candidate can’t move it (optional).
  5. Select the Save Test Question button to save.
